You are so cool, CoD was so fun i cant wait for this game! Unless it costs money...In this game will we be seeing just basic stuff like CoD or will we be seeing more stuff like gathering food for survival, making strong shelters for protection? Or is it just goona be fun panic causing like CoD when hundreds of zombies pour into your last room and you realise you could have escaped easily if you wanted earlier, but now with all four sides being closed in on you know there is no hope and you hope you can blast enough zombies before you run out of ammo. Good times, your a genius.

Are you planning on having water in the game so that the tiny river or stream could slow the zombies down a little before they over swarm you. Thanks for considering lower systems, mine is AWFUL! i mean it is probably the crappiest system out there, a pentium III, 512mb RAM, 730mhz, NVIDIA TNT model 2 graphics card, everything about this pc is slowww!

I\'ve split your posts from the screenshot thread because I\'ve been wanting to make a thread for the design anyway.

The emphasis in this game will be on survival, rather than retiring zombies. Since it\'s about survival, the player will hopefully have to think carefully about stashing ammo, sources of water, first aid, things like that.

I\'m taking inspiration from roguelikes - the town will be randomly generated, and when you die, you\'ll have to start again. There will be set features in the town that provide some sort of structure to a game, but I haven\'t thought too hard about what they\'ll be yet.

I\'m not planning on having open water, as the town / city is set in Nevada. It\'s a desert town :)

Barricading will be important I think, but I\'m still trying to figure out in my head how that will work over time - if you leave a stash in a barricaded place then it should of course be there when you get back... but if you leave it unprotected, what reason would zombies have to steal it? No, barricading is for your own protection, to stop zombies getting in so that it\'s less hassle to get to your stash.

As for your system... wow, that must be getting on for ten years old now? How well did Cottage of Doom run on that machine? I\'d be very interested in finding out.
